Counselling for grief & loss
Grief doesn't only follow a death. It can come with any loss that changes your life, and it rarely arrives tidily or on schedule.
There's no right way to grieve, and no set time it should take. Some people feel the full weight of it straight away. For others it surfaces months later, or in waves that arrive without warning. Whatever shape yours takes, it is allowed.
Counselling gives you somewhere to set it down for a while and be heard, without having to manage how anyone else is feeling. We go as gently and as slowly as you need.
People come to talk about
- Losing someone close, recently or a long time ago
- A death that was sudden, or one that was long expected
- The end of a relationship or a marriage
- Losing health, work, or a way of life you'd counted on
- Grief that feels tangled, or that you've never said out loud
